The Office of the Fire Marshal administers and enforces fire codes, conducts regular building inspections and enforces compliance of code violations in the interest of public safety.

The office also checks for compliance with federal and state regulations in regards to fire and environmental hazards through inspection, enforcement and reporting in coordination with other respective agencies in order to promote and maintain a safer community.

Throughout the year, educational and awareness programs are presented to public and private schools in the district, as well as child care centers, elderly housing, civic groups and business.
