Any person eighteen years of age or older residing within the territorial limits of the Bloomfield Center Fire District who is in good physical and mental health is eligible to make application. Any applicant, upon request, shall be required to submit to a physical and / or mental examination prior to the approval of his or her application by the Board of Officers. Each accepted applicant shall complete a six month probationary period together with forty hours of training before consideration for acceptance as a regular member. Acceptance to regular membership shall be upon the recommendation of the Deputy Chief of Training and a majority vote of the Board of Officers.
